1. Orientation of first year students

This activity is an annual activity carried out to welcome and acquaint the first year students with the values, vision, mission, objectives and activities of the MUST Peer Project at the beginning of every academic year. The program also aims at laying a foundation for participation of first year students in the University programs, as well as guiding and encouraging them to choose safer lifestyles for their safe stay at Mbarara University of science and technology.

2. Health awareness

 During this time advocacy committee works closely with the students’ guild during the health awareness week in which forums are organized and over one hundred students are reached out to in regard to health related issues.
